1. About OjaIbadan
OjaIbadan is a vendor discovery and marketplace platform operating in Ibadan, Nigeria. We connect customers with local vendors by providing a searchable directory of vendor profiles. OjaIbadan does not directly sell goods or services, nor does it process payments between buyers and sellers.
2. Use of Platform
By using OjaIbadan, you agree to use the platform lawfully and in good faith. You may not use the platform to post false information, engage in fraud, harass users, or violate applicable Nigerian law. OjaIbadan reserves the right to remove any vendor profile or listing that violates these terms.
3. Vendor Listings
Vendors listed on OjaIbadan are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, product/service information, and pricing. OjaIbadan does not verify all vendor claims and is not responsible for inaccurate, misleading, or outdated vendor information. Verified badges are trust signals based on document review — they are not guarantees of vendor quality or reliability.
4. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for verifying vendor information, confirming prices, and agreeing on terms before making any payment. OjaIbadan is not a party to any transaction between customers and vendors. We strongly advise customers to follow our safety checklist before any purchase.
5. Transactions & Payments
OjaIbadan does not process, facilitate, or guarantee any payment or transaction between customers and vendors. All payments are made directly between the customer and vendor. OjaIbadan is not liable for any financial loss arising from transactions facilitated by vendor introductions made through our platform.
6. Verification Badges
Verification badges are awarded based on documents submitted by vendors and reviewed by OjaIbadan at a specific point in time. Badges do not constitute a guarantee of business quality, product quality, or transaction safety. OjaIbadan may remove or suspend badges if new information contradicts the original review.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on OjaIbadan — including logos, designs, text, and code — is the intellectual property of OjaIbadan Limited. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute our content without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
OjaIbadan is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform, including but not limited to financial loss, fraud, or reputational damage. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
9. Changes to Terms
OjaIbadan reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
